Update: To clear up confusion, I don’t think either Hilton or Prejean is completely to blame. I think Hilton’s points about what Miss America represents are valid, and under those views alone it makes sense why Prejean lost. Was she put on the spot and made to answer a controversial topic? Yes indeed; not only that but that question and answer were beamed to millions of homes and then spread around the internet. Does Hilton have the right to attack Prejean personally? Not really, but he can go against her statements. |
