Sex Tape Unravels Former Beauty Queen

TMZ won't play it because it is too racey? Or afraid they will get sued?
clipped from www.tmz.com
Carrie Prejean -- the dethroned Miss California USA -- is in meltdown mode because of a solo sex tape.
Prejean -- who made headlines for her stand against gay marriage and her strong ties to fundamentalist religion -- is supposed to appear on "Today" next week to push her new book.. "Today" producers have called TMZ, making it clear the interview has changed and they want details on the sex tape.
TMZ has also received calls from CNN, FOX and various other outlets asking for info.
The reason they're all calling TMZ -- we obtained the tape several months ago but decided not to run it because it was too racy.

Beauties of America Friendships

This past weekend, I had the opportunity to reunite with 2008 Virginia's 20s, Erica Heinrich in my hometown of Seven Hills, Ohio. Erica and I met for the first time at the Beauties of America Pageant orientation. We had an instant bond and left the BOA Pageant with a lasting friendship. It was Erica's first roadtrip to Ohio. We had a wonderful time catching up. I look forward to my next BOA reunion with some of my sister queens at the Miss America Pageant in Las Vegas!

Years later I found out about an organization that does the same, so I saw the need that I collaborate with the organization to further my efforts with their ideals and that is where Equipped and Suited for Success was created.

Well what can I say but another job well done for the Victor Valley Community Hospital Foundation and the First Ladies of the High Desert! The evening included gigantic room filled with green and white decorum, fresh chilled mojito's, and great Cuban inspired food along with a custom wine pairing, dancing, and a silent auction! I don't think that there was an item missed by the First Ladies who planned the event! My husband and I enjoyed ourselves fully and absolutely loved the food!

Miss Seal Beach Pageant

Last night my daughter, Krystina, and I attended the Jr. Miss, Teen and Miss Seal Beach Pageant last night. What a great experience for the two of us. The pageant was so well done and moved along very quickly. Each young lady surprised me in their abilitities. My daughter loved seeing all of the princesses and even took pictures with quite a few. That is what I love about being able to share all of this with her, to watch her grow up and to see the pure joy and excitement in her eyes when a Princess is nice to her.

Rachel Christie Loses Cool, Miss England Crown in Bar Fight with Sara Beverley Jones

Reigning Miss England beauty pageant title holder Rachel Christie has given up her crown after being accused of getting into a bar fight, according to UK sources.

Pageant organizers say Christie, a 21-year-old heptathlete, has also withdrawn from next month's Miss World finals in South Africa to focus on clearing her name.

This will also give her more time to train for the 2012 Olympics.

Miss England Rachel Christie decked Sara Beverley Jones and gave up her crown to "focus on clearing her name," i.e. beat her bosses to the punch. No pun intended.

The incident happened during an "adult" themed costume night at the club im which Christie was dressed as an angel, and Jones was dressed as a cavegirl.

Greater Manchester Police said Friday that a 21-year-old woman was arrested on suspicion of assault after a melee at the city's Mansion nightclub Monday.

Beauty queen busted for bar brawl with rival

You might expect pageant queens to demonstrate their talent, beauty and poise, but Miss England has added fisticuffs to her resumé. Rachel Christie, 21, has relinquished her crown after being arrested on suspicion of punching Miss Manchester, 24-year-old Sara Beverly Jones, at a nightclub.

Christie, a heptathlete training for the 2012 Olympics and whose uncle is former sprinter Linford Christie, will now concentrate on clearing her name, the Miss England organizers said.

The BBC reported Jones was allegedly punched in the face after an argument said to be about a TV personality from the Gladiators program, which airs in the U.K.

It is believed that Jones is an ex-girlfriend of TV gladiator Tornado, whose real name is David McIntosh.

Christie, McIntosh's current girlfriend, has been released on bail until January 2010.

Pageant pumpkins...

Hope everyone had a FABULOUS HALLOWEEN...which by the way is one of my FAVORITE holidays!
I mean, what other day of the year can you dress up -be whatever you want - and have an excuse to eat nothing but candy!!!?? Its the best!!!
However, one of my favorite things to do on halloween is carve pumpkins!! This year - I drilled holes in my pumpkin and stuck christmas tree lights through the holes and created some funky design....I stole the idea from a Martha Stewart Magazine. While I thought my pumpkin carving idea was pretty cool - Miss Ohio Jr. Teen, Brianna Lang, definitely out-did me!!
Check out her pumpkin.....I know you will all want to steal this idea next year!!! It's definitely one sassy pumpkin that screams " I look good!"
Thanks for sharing Brianna!!!

Ladies Night Out - Parker

On October 1st I attended the "Ladies Night Out" event in Parker. It was a wonderful evening that I was glad to be a part of. I was asked to emcee the fashion show for Christopher & Banks, where some of the women competing for Mrs. Colorado 2010 were models. There were various booths set up with vendors geared towards women's interests. There was lots of jewelry, clothes, accessories, and much more!
It was absolutely adorable how excited these girls were to take their picture with me! And the cutest part of all is how the little girl on the far left is posing with my autograph picture. These are some of the greatest moments of being Mrs. Colorado.
And the girls always seem to love when I let them wear my crown. I must admit though, I still get excited when I wear my crown, too!

A Courageous Beauties Interview:Mrs. Colorado International 2009-Michelle Fields

Introducing my friend, Michelle Fields, Mrs. Colorado International 2009. She's a rock solid woman with an unusual platform for a beauty queen. I'd never met a woman out promoting Boy Scouts. But I immediately loved it, being a mom of 3 sons myself. I think our culture has been very difficult for our sons and love that there is a woman out in our world building the men up of the next generation and helping to teach them character, perseverance, and community service to God and country.
Michelle: My platform is simply Boy Scouts of America. I am married to an Eagle Scout, have 3 out my 4 children active in Scouting and am myself a Scouter (adult volunteer) as a Den Leader and Merit Badge Counselor. I do actually take the uniform off at night.
Michelle: I personally give about 3-4 hours per week in volunteer hours to Boy Scouts. I have been active this past year with our local Council and have worked alongside the Marketing Director for many events including the Boy Scout Show.

We are planning to have children but in the mean time we have lots of the four-legged varieties. Lulu is our snow white, American Eskimo princess. Simon is our fur ball, chubby older Maine Coon Cat and Abri, is the younger of the three and most naughty one. His name means “Cloudy” in the Persian language. Carrie Prejean sex tape forced ex-Miss California's lawsuit settlement

clipped from www.nydailynews.com
Carrie Prejean reportedly walked away from lawsuit settlement negotions with almost nothing after a sex tape featuring her in the starring role surfaced.

A legal standoff between Carrie Prejean and Miss California USA officials reportedly ended when a Pageant lawyer played his trump card: a sex tape far more hard-core than the nude pictures which had previously scandalized her – and in which she had the starring role.

After being shown the hardcore home video - in which she apparently engages in a solo sex act - Prejean dropped her million-dollar-plus demands, TMZ.com reports, and bolted from the negotiating table.

The tape has never been released publically.

The negotiations war ends with Prejean getting zilch, TMZ.com reports. Pageant officials will reportedly pay her lawyers and a publicist $100K, with nothing going directly to her.

The settlement also relieved Prejean of any financial obligations to pageant organizer K2Productions - including repaying her breast augmentation surgery.

Miss La Crosse more than meets the eye

UW-L student uses pageant to promote deeply personal passion

Many people don't realize how much time and dedication go into beauty pageants. Being a pageant contestant requires much more than a pretty face; it requires hard work and a desire to be heard. Recently crowned Miss La Crosse, UW-L sophomore Raenna Johnson, has what it takes to succeed.
Johnson first became involved with beauty pageants her senior year of high school when she won Miss Holmen 2007. The chance to win scholarships was what pushed her towards being a contestant, and her Miss Holmen win rewarded her with $2,000 in scholarship money.
Johnson also wanted to use pageants as a way to project a message very important to her. About four years ago, her brother Tyler ended his life as the result of a methamphetamine addiction. This tragedy inspired Johnson to speak out on drug use prevention and awareness, which was her platform in the recent Miss La Crosse pageant.

Taking Time For Life's SImplest Pleasures

The day I turned fifty the gift my daughter and son-in-law gave me was the news I was going to be a grandmother.  What a welcome to that golden age which is sometimes dismissed as a hallmark of the best being over.

Instead it was the signal of the infancy of what has proven to be the most incredible time in my life!  My little birthday present (also known as Maddie) continues to bring joy in our lives in ways I could not dream were possible.  Today was one of those days.

At a time in my life where possibilities abound and life is busy, my granddaughter's excitement reminds me we often get so enthralled in our vocations and avocations we sometimes forget to stop for a moment and take in the simplicity and wonderment of a less than two year old child.

When it was time to leave I was reminded of the importance of enjoying the simplest of things in life.  Spending time with Maddie was a moment that I would not have traded for all the flash bulb or client possibilities in the world.

World Record Thriller! with Mrs. Illinois

There was a reason why we got some serious rain and cold for the BC Walk Saturday Morning, because I needed some help in the "bad hair" department..."Why on earth would you want that?!" you ask? Because Saturday night was the Thrill the World Global Event at Six Flags Great America where we, along with parks, theaters, etc across the world, all perform "Thriller" at the same time in an effort to break the Guinness Book of World Records!
I was asked by Six Flags to teach the choreography and be a part of the event. So Saturday afternoon, scary hair, cobwebs and all, photographer and exceptional friend, Jason Pawlowski, and I were escorted into the deepest parts of Six Flags to be "Zombie-fied". I don't think I have ever seen anything so cool! I got to be made up by the extraordinarily talented team of JPM Productions...WOW!!! That's serious airbrushing, folks!
You can see the dance on YouTube: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=v029Ulbf0II - can you find me in the crowd?!?! :)
