ANTHONY SULLIVAN, STAR OF PITCHMEN, VISITED THE MAOTEEN'S IN VEGAS WITH A NEW PRODUCT FOR A FOCUS GROUP

One of the industry's foremost consumer products companies, Telebrands sponsored the Miss America's Outstanding Teens in Las Vegas for Miss America 2010. Forty-eight MAOT contestants reunited and hit the Vegas strip for a day of adventure featured in Telebrands shirts representing the organization.

The Outstanding Teen State Representatives visited the St. Rose Children's Miracle Network Hospital to learn how their Children's Miracle Network fundraising dollars are being put to use and changing children's lives. The teens attended workshops and had a private luncheon, sponsored by the St. Rose Hospital.

During their visit, they were able to see firsthand how their fundraising efforts help buy life-saving equipment for so many ill children. In addition, the teens were able to meet with Children's Miracle Network "Miracle" Children, sign autographs and spend time talking to the parents. The teens continued their Vegas adventure at the Paris Las Vegas Hotel, where they were taken to the top of the Eiffel Tower.

Finally, they ended the day at the new "Fabulous Las Vegas Sign" for pictures with an Elvis impersonator and their official autograph signing.

Myrrhanda Jones, Miss Florida's Outstanding Teen was recently awarded for her community service and sense of style as the winner of the "Whose Shoes Are You Wearing Campaign" by Frederico Leone.

Last fall, Frederico Leone footwear company issued a challenge to all state MAOTeen titleholders. Each representative was encouraged to participate in a community service event while wearing their Frederico Leone shoes. Dozens of applications were submitted and Myrrhanda Jones emerged as the winner.

Myrrhanda says she visited the Art Auction on Make a Difference Day last October to help to raise funds for Shand's Hospital's Radiothon for Children's Miracle Network. She also visited the Pediatric Care Unit, donating 62 stuffed monkeys to the patients as part of her "Hugs for Hurts" platform and was featured on the radio helping to raise funds for the cause. Jones has personally raised $15, 260 and has jointly raised $210,000 for CMN and Shand's Hospital.

Jones says one of the highlights of the day was a compliment received by a little girl who exclaimed "you're pretty and I love your shoes!" Jones says she was wearing her strappy nude tone Frederico Leone shoes. "I felt fabulous wearing them because they don't hurt my feet and I can stand for hours speaking to people without leg fatigue or my toes screaming "take us home.'"
