Samaritan Counseling Center to host Annual Daughters of Lot Breakfast

clipped from themrsoklahomapageant.blogspot.com Samaritan Counseling Center will hold its annual Daughters of Lot Breakfast at 9:30 a.m. February 7th at Adams Boulevard Church of Christ, 3700 Adams Boulevard, Bartlesville. This year's theme is "Color Us Caring". All proceeds from this fundraising event are designate to counseling fee assistance for victims of sexual abuse. This event is scheduled each year to raise the needed funds to help sexual abuse victims with the cost of counseling. Mrs. Oklahoma International 2007, Brooke Good, will be the guest speaker. Good's platform, Child Sexual Abuse: Overcoming the Nightmare, will be the topic of her presentation. As a survivor herself, Brooke is able to help children to understand that they are not alone by sharing her experience with them.
