Abigail Woods Will Represent Benton County in State Beauty Pageant

Ever since Abigail Woods, daughter of Jeff and Susie Belisle of Camden, was crowned Senior Miss Fairest of the Fair last August at the Benton County Fair’s Annual Pageant, she has been looking forward to the state pageant. On January 16, Woods will represent Benton County in the Fairest of the Fairs State Pageant in Nashville.
Woods, 17, has been competing in beauty pageants since she was “about four”. A member of the Camden Church of Christ Youth Group, Woods is also quite active in school. She is a senior at Camden Central High School taking dual credits in college classes: English out of UT at Martin and pre-calculus out of Jackson State.
She will travel to Nashville with her mother, Susie, and local fair officials. As a positive role model of the youth in Benton County, with both inner and outer beauty, it is apparent Woods is a winner whether or not she brings home the state crown.
