Big 4 Pageant: Gale Chan crowned Miss Hawaiian Tropic New Zealand 2008Top 2: Ina Ivanova and Gale Chan
Gale Chan, a 21 year old university student from Auckland Central won the coveted title of Miss Hawaiian Tropic New Zealand 2008 pageant at Empire Tavern last Friday night. She beat contestants from around the country. 1st Runner Up is Ina Ivanova and 2nd Runner Up is Melissa Misson who both have beauty pageant experiences. Hannah Matthews was there to crowned her successor. Hannah Matthews made the Top 12 earlier this year in the international competition.
Gale will represent New Zealand at Miss Hawaiian Tropic International 2009 in Las Vegas, USA next year.
