Students at Grace Lutheran School learned about making the right decisions during a visit Monday from Miss Alabama Melinda Toole.
Toole, who placed fifth in the Miss America Pageant, is touring the state as part of the "Right Decisions, Right Now" program that encourages children to make the right choices about smoking.
"My goal is simply to share some advice with them on how to make important decisions." said Toole, a Birmingham native and graduate of Samford University. She will begin her teaching career next year in the Homewood School System.
