If you’re looking for tips for day trips, one source with bundles is “Discover Wisconsin” — the TV show, radio show and Web site.

“Discover Wisconsin” has been promoting the state for 20 years on TV.

The show will mark its milestone Saturday and Sunday with an episode that airs at various times on stations throughout Wisconsin and seven other states. In Green Bay, it is broadcast regularly at 5 p.m. Saturday on WGBA, Channel 26.

The anniversary edition will recount the origins of the show (aboard a fishing boat) and provide a sampler of stories and destinations as well as memories from hosts past and present.

“My favorite part is we show some of the really strange and unusual attractions you can see in the state,” said Stephanie Klett, the former Miss Wisconsin who has hosted the show for 14 years.

“One attraction is the Rock in the House in Fountain City. Not House on the Rock (near Spring Green). This is a rock in the house. It’s a 55-ton boulder that fell into a home, right into the living room.”
