Ratings for the "Miss USA Pageant" might get a bump tonight when people tune in to see if Tara Conner, the reigning Miss USA from Russell Springs, Ky., will say anything about her tumultuous reign.

The pageant airs from 9 to 11 on NBC. The broadcast won't try to hide her, executive producer Phil Gurin told The Associated Press.

"Certainly our reigning Miss USA is going to be on television, and we're certainly not going to shy away from referring to what happened," he said.

What happened was that Conner came within a hair of losing her crown last December when TMZ.com reported the then-underage beauty queen had been frequently spotted drinking in New York City bars. The New York Post and other media outlets later reported she was using cocaine.
