In 2008, International Pageants affiliated with the American Heart Association's Go Red for Women movement. Although each of our titleholders has their own platform that they are passionate about, we encourage them to become involved in the National platform - Go Red for Women.
Heart disease is the number one killer of women. One in every three women will die from heart disease. For these two reasons, it's a good bet that every one of us has been affected personally by heart disease.
Our titleholders will be on hand on Feburary 4th at the Oklahoma State Capitol for Go Red Day at the Capitol. And on February 5th, dressed in crowns and red gowns, they will be participating in a Go Red event at the South Oklahoma Heart Hospital.
