Kirsten Haglund, Miss America 2008, basked in the luxury of The Shoppes at The Palazzo as she admired and took home select pieces chosen specifically for her from such retailers as Edidi, Ralph Lauren, Catherine Malandrino, and Barneys New York.
Miss Haglund, crown and all, could be seen toting jeweled handbags from Edidi, trying on shoes at Catherine Malandrino and enjoying a personal shopping experience at Barneys New York. Items she now calls her own include a Swarovski crystal credit card holder from Edidi, a chic pair of sunglasses from Ralph Lauren and a pair of hand sewn Ayes Snake Skin heels from Catherine Malandrino.
Emeril Lagasse’s Table 10 provided lunch to the reigning Miss America and her traveling companion prior to her retail rendezvous. She chose the warm spinach salad with duck confit and toasted almonds to give her enough energy to shop her way through the 450,000 square-feet of retail space at Las Vegas’ newest luxury retail destination—The Shoppes at The Palazzo.
