‘There she is’ begins with return of Miss Columbia
There she is, Miss Columbia — again.
It’s been four years since Columbia has sent a representative to the Miss America organization’s Miss South Carolina Pageant. And as far as some are concerned, that’s four years too long.
All that will change next month when the event returns to Keenan High School.
And few people are more excited about the Oct. 21 event than Erin Gambrell.
“The confidence, presence, poise — those are things you can’t learn in college,” Gambrell said.
