BOGOTA, Sept. 5 (UPI) -- A famous Colombian fashion designer known for his dresses was shot and killed by unknown gunmen on a motorcycle, El Tiempo reported Tuesday.
Miguel de la Torre was killed Monday outside his design studio in the capital. Police have yet to discover a motive for the killing, the report said.
The 35-year-old Torre was celebrated for his bold designs worn on the world's fashion runways and by last year's Miss Universe contest winner, Natalie Glebova from Canada.
