52 MISS AMERICA CONTESTANTS ARE HOLLYWOOD BOUND
CMT BEGINS FILMING FOR PAGEANT SPECIAL

Fifty two brilliant and shining stars are arriving in style to the city of Los Angeles on Monday for a very unique and unprecedented event. For the first time ever, the MISS AMERICA state contestants will all gather months before the Miss America Pageant Competition for the filming of a two-hour special. The week long CMT filming will include the 52 state contestants as they meet, interact, and share in this once-in-a-lifetime experience. The special will be part of CMT's newly expanded programming that will complement the live 2007 Miss America Pageant and will be shown on CMT and its sister networks, VH1, MTV and Logo.

In addition to the arrival of the 52 state contestants, Miss America 2006 Jennifer Berry will also be arriving in California to participate in the contestants' special as well as her own one-hour show that will focus on her year as Miss America. Jennifer's special will spotlight her personality, as well as highlight some of the unique events and appearances that she has made throughout the country.

In addition to the contestants' special and Miss America 2006 Jennifer Berry's show, CMT's expanded programming will include a one-hour look at the GREATEST MISS AMERICA MOMENTS and Miss America features on the popular CMT TOP 20 COUNTDOWN and CMT INSIDER. Additional programming will be available exclusively on the CMT LOADED, VOD, CMT.com, CMT Radio and CMT Mobile.

The 2006 MISS AMERICA PAGEANT premiered on CMT last January and ranks as the most-watched telecast in CMT's history with total viewers. Since its premiere, re-airings of the Pageant have been seen by more than 27 million different viewers.

The 2007 Miss America's activities at the Aladdin Casino and Resort in Las Vegas begin with the Pageant Preliminaries, which include swimsuit, talent and evening wear competitions, on Thursday, January 25 and continue through Saturday, January 27 at the newly-remodeled Theatre for the Performing Arts. The 2007 Miss America Pageant will take place on Monday, January 29 and will air live on CMT. Tickets to the preliminaries and the Pageant Finals will be available to the public at www.ticketmaster.com.
