Congratulations to all Mindanaoans! Aileen Jan Yap, an Fil-American of Mindanao descent wins the Miss US International 2009. Aileen Jan is the daughter of Dr. Romeo “Boy” Sy Yap of Cagayan de Oro City and Virgincita “Geget” Bautista Valdehueza Yap of Balingasag, Misamis Oriental.
This means that the Philippines will have TWO REPRESENTATIVES to The Miss International 2009: Aileen Jan Yap AND Melody Gershbach, Miss Philippines International 2009!!!
