FORMER MISS D.C. RASHIDA JOLLEY SELECTED FOR AMERICA'S GOT TALENT!

FORMER MISS D.C. RASHIDA JOLLEY

SELECTED FOR AMERICA'S GOT TALENT!

Former Miss America contestant, Miss D.C. 2000 Rashida Jolley, is currently a contestant on NBC's America's Got Talent. Rashida left the audience and the judges spellbound last week with her harp and vocal performance of "Killing Me Softly." Click here to see a video of Rashida's performance!

Rashida played the harp as her talent during the 2001 Miss America Pageant. It was at this pageant where she was encouraged by our own Miss America 2001 Angie Perez Baraquio, and her fellow contestant to pursue singing. Not too long after the pageant, she began pursuing a career in singing and playing harp and she greatly credits Angie for encouraging her to do so!

Congratulations to our former titleholder! Be sure to tune in to America's Got Talent in the upcoming weeks to see if Rashida makes it to the finals! We wish her the best of luck!
