United States Army San Antonio Recruiting Battalion Change of Command
Our friend Lt. Col. Rene Brown of the United States Army San Antonio Recruiting Battalion retired in June and has returned to his home of Kentucky. He was the key that opened our minds and hearts to the men and women of the United States Army. His invitations gave me the chance to thank the Soldiers of United States Army for their courage, spirit and tenacity. In a ceremony called Change of Command, Lt. Col. Rene Brown passed the Battalion Colors to new Commander of United States Army San Antonio Recruiting Battalion Lt. Col. Thomas Ellis. I look forward to working with Lt. Col. Thomas Ellis in the future and will miss having big brother Lt. Col. Rene Brown around to share his advice and expertise.
