Saturday evening was a memorable night for Miss Charleston, Crystal Garrett.
Garrett, who earlier this week won the Evening Gown and Talent competitions, outlasted 45 other contestants and was crowned the new Miss South Carolina in front of a packed house at the Spartanburg Memorial Auditorium.
