River Queen Pageant
The 2007 River Queen Pageant will be held at 7 p.m. Saturday at the Austin Peay State University's Clement Auditorium.
Cost is $10 for adults and $7 for students and children under 12. Tickets can be purchased at the door. The pageant consists of the Miss River Queen and Miss River Teen contests.
The winners of each will move on to compete for Miss Tennessee and Tennessee Teen USA pageants in October.
"That's one of the perks of being in this that they'll move on to the next level," Barber said. "Who know, they could be the next Miss USA."
Current Miss USA and Clarksville native Rachel Smith will be in attendance at the Rivers & Spires Festival.
