Along with our own Beauties of America National Director, Jennifer White, and the President of the Board of Directors for the Miss Ohio Scholarship Program, I was thrilled to be in Dayton, Ohio this past weekend to judge the Ohio National Teenager Scholarship Pageant. America's National Teenager Scholarship Organization is a nationwide pageant system that offers more than $5 million in college scholarships annually to young women from across the country.
The organization celebrates its 37th anniversary this year and it has become the premier pageant scholarship program for teenagers in America. I was astounded to learn that the program has awarded more than $100 million scholarships since its creation. ANTSO is one of the top three pageant systems for teen girls today. What a fabulous experience Ohio's pageant was! The contestants were awesome!
I met the newly crowned Miss Indiana Teenager and the National Hospitality winner from last year's nationals, last year's Ohio Teenager who was 2nd runner up at nationals and her little sister. I loved the one-on-one interview time I had with each contestant - they are all winners! The national pageant will be held in Nashville, TN this summer.
