LOS ANGELES, Sept. 1 (UPI) -- TLC said it has ordered 12 episodes of "King of the Crown," a new U.S. reality TV series that follows a veteran beauty pageant coach.
The new series starring Cy Frakes is set to premiere Sept. 30.
"The series definitely captures the essence of who I am and what I do," Frakes said. "'King of the Crown' has a lot of humor but also shows that we deal with broken heels, broken nails and, of course, broken hearts. We prepare girls beyond a superficial level; we prepare them to overcome any challenge in life."
