| Heather, 30, was crowned Miss Maryland International 2008 at the state pageant Saturday night, April 5th. Heather lives with her husband, Steve, and two daughters, Abagail and Bethany. She now advances to the Mrs. International Pageant and will represent Maryland in Chicago in July at the national competition. | PLATFORM ORGANIZATIONS March of Dimes; Preemies Today After the premature birth of her first daughter, Heather joined the Board of Directors of Preemies Today, a support group for parents of premature infants. Located in the Metro DC region, the organization includes members throughout the United States. Heather also began working with the March of Dimes as a spokesperson, as a Mission Mom, a member of several committees and as a volunteer lobbyist. |
