Samsung, one of the leading mobile manufacturers in the region offered its customers a one-time chance to win a trip to join the most beautiful women in the world in the 56th Miss World 2006 competition in Warsaw, Poland.

To participate, people had to log on to Samsung Fun Club on mea.samsungmobile.com and download any of a variety of 30 screen savers or 20 wallpapers of the most stunning women on the planet!

The promotion ended on the 23rd of September 2006 with a high participation rate and was therefore considered a big success for Samsung Fun Club.

Speaking more on this promotion, General Manager of Samsung Gulf Electronics mobile division Steve Han said "We have been very thrilled about this promotion at Samsung. Not only did participants get a chance to be a part of one of the most prestigious events in the world, but also got a chance to visit a city that is entrenched in history and culture."
The winner of the promotion, Ms. Jessica Heid won the exciting trip to Warsaw, Poland. She was invited to attend the Miss World Final, which was held on the 30th of September where she experienced memorable moments.
