Katie Stam was
crowned Miss America just a few days ago. She attends the University of Indianapolis where she is majoring in communications. Willie Geist and Mika Brzezinski invited her to to the studio where she could fulfill her dream of becoming a news anchor and receive some tips and traning. Katie did pretty well during her debut but it's hard to take her seriously while she is wearing the Miss America crown. She was most excited to meet Brian Williams who surprised her with a visit to the set. Take a look:
