If Miss USA Tara Conner can get a second chance, why can’t Miss Nevada Katie Rees?
“I’ve always been a believer in second chances,” beauty pageant mogul Donald Trump told the press this week. “I’ve always been.”
In the most absurd press conference ever, Trump gave Tara Conner a second chance to retain her Miss USA title. All Conner had to do was shed some crocodile tears, come clean about her underage drinking and partying ways and agree to enter rehab.
So doesn’t Miss Nevada Katie Rees deserve a second chance? Trump OK’d Rees getting the boot after pictures from 2001 of her flashing her breasts and simulating oral sex at a party hit the Internet.
Apparently Donald Trump’s career has been reduced to determining the fate of beauty pageant contestants – a job he seems to love. But the least he could do is avoid being a flaming hypocrite, by kicking Miss Nevada to the curb.
