Miss America to Speak at MADD Vigil

Miss America Jennifer Berry will be the speaker at Thursday's 14th Annual Candlelight Vigil of Remembrance and Hope, sponsored by Mothers Against Drunk Driving.

The vigil will be held at 7 p.m. at the First United Methodist Church at 72 Lake Morton Drive in Lakeland.

A statement from MADD said Berry will talk about a high school friend who was killed in a drunken driving crash.

Also, Tommy Brandt, the Inspirational Country Music's 2006 Male Vocalist of the Year, will perform, according to MADD. For more information call the MADD Polk County office at 668-7422.
