| Panaji, Nov 04: Confusion over her baggage on Saturday saw Miss Universe Juleyka Rivera missing her flight from here to Bangalore. "She was supposed to leave for Bangalore by this afternoon's Air Deccan flight. The departure was delayed when confusion began over the number of bags carried by the Miss Universe and her crew of around 30 people, including international models," an airport source said. Rivera was scheduled to leave today after her three-day aids awareness tour that included a fashion show at Baga Beach to display the summer collection of New York-based designer Sanjana Jon. The show was hosted by fashion TV at La Calypso hotel. After Rivera missed the flight, her hosts made attempts to accommodate her in a Mumbai-bound Indian flight that was scheduled to depart later. However, the airline said no seats were available, forced Rivera to return to the hotel where she had stayed for the past two days. "She will leave for Mumbai tomorrow," a source said. |
