NEW YORK -- Past and former beauty queens offered tips on how to stay looking good at an event here Tuesday night to mark the start of the quest to find the next Miss USA.
"Universal Beauty: The Miss Universe Guide to Beauty" was a special event held at Trump Tower in New York City to marked the launch of the Miss USA 2006 campaign.
Reigning Miss USA Chelsea Cooley joined a number of former beauty queens to promote the event. Many of the contestants in this year's Miss USA competition also attended. They also appeared at MTV studios for a special screening of the "Total Request Live" show.
Miss USA 2006 will be held in Baltimore on Friday night. (Compiled from Mainichi and wire reports)
