Mrs. Wyoming Kelly McBee, a 30-year-old mother of three, has been crowned the new Mrs. America. Not to be confused with the Miss America contest, the Mrs. America contest "spotlights some of the most accomplished, contemporary, poised, articulate and attractive married women."
The first runner-up was Mrs. Tennessee Christina Ryan, second runner-up was Mrs. Nebraska Michele Storm, third runner-up was Mrs. Oklahoma Melissa Soto, fourth runner-up was Mrs. New Mexico Cortney Whitley, and fifth runner-up was Mrs. California Kelly Stornetta.
Kelly McBee, a 30-year-old mother of three, works as a beauty consultant in Worland, Wyoming. Upon being crowned Wednesday in a ceremony at the Loews Ventana Canyon Resort, McBee expressed her delight with the win: "I'm in shock," she said. "I don't believe it!"
