More to Miss Arizona than just beauty

For Nicole Turner, the Miss Arizona crown means more than a new accessory. It's an avenue for people to learn about her cause "To Drive With Care" that she created after her friend passed away in an automobile accident.

Turner, 23, was crowned into instant royalty Saturday night. She will compete in the 2007 Miss America Pageant at the Aladdin Resort & Casino.

Turner, who is now the former Miss Chandler, topped 15 other women vying for the crown.

"I just remembered hearing Nicole Turner, and it was a total blur. This morning I woke up and saw the crown and banner and said, 'Oh my God, that is mine,'" said Turner on her first full day as Miss Arizona.
