Toby was murdered by her husband, Keith following a brutally abusive marriage. A Memorial in Toby's honor is being held for her at 2:00 pm on January 12th, 2008 at Neighborhood Baptist Church in Ramona, California. We would like to ask all of you who have Dash "Purple Ribbon Pins" to wear your ribbon upside-down on the date of Toby's Memorial. When someone points out to you that your ribbon is upside down, that is your opportunity to explain why. Tell them that your ribbon is upside down to represent "Victory over Violence" in honor of Toby. This will give you an opportunity to tell Toby's story. It is our hope that telling Toby's story will prevent future tragedies. To learn more about Toby's story, please do a "Google Search" with the key-words: Toby Turner Ramona CA. There are multiple media accounts with details regarding the case. We send our deepest sympathy and support to Toby's family, and specifically to her sister Leah. | Pageant Notes/In The News Welcome to the Newest "Little American Queen"! These are a perfect fit for the beauty queen in every woman! Read below to see exactly what we are so excited about... High heels. Women love them, women hate them. Andrea Padilla, designer, is just like every other woman that wears heels. She doesn't want to sacrifice fashion for comfort; yet, she and her friends had enough of the agony that comes from wearing high heels too long. There had to be a solution from the prolonged wear of heels that causes discomfort. The idea for Spare Soles came about because Andrea attended wedding after wedding where she ended up kicking off her heels and dancing barefoot. There were too many trips to Las Vegas where she was dying from her heels and would walk barefoot through hotels and parking lots. Upon realizing there was nothing available to solve her problem, she invented a solution and came up with a unique, compact, hygienic and fashionable solution. Spare Soles provides a solution to the modern woman that wants to wear her heels yet suffers in doing so. Spare Soles are so compact you can fit them in your purse or pocket and take them with you anywhere, anytime. Instead of being barefoot, or having that constant reminder that you're in excruciating footwear whether it be at a wedding, dance club, office, hotel or airport, you now have the choice to be comfortable. Slip on a pair of these truly portable flats. Then put your heels back on for those important moments when only your heels will suffice. So kick up your heels and order your very own pair of Spare Soles (what a great Holiday Gift too!) of "Spare Soles", visit their website at: www.SpareSoles.com | "Producer's Picks" Our Executive Producer's, Dara & Alana Iantuono, share beauty tips and secrets with all of our readers! "TEA TREE OIL": This amazing product not only helps to prevent and combat blemishes, but keeps balanced moisture on the skin while neutralizing free radicals. We all know that free radicals cause wrinkles, so that's a great benefit! It continuously works to control shine and excess oil and impurities -- without over-drying the skin. Tea Tree is of great value as a preventative remedy to help the body fight off all kinds of infection. It's especially important if the body is already in a weakened condition brought on by either stress, illness or the use of antibiotics or other drugs which have lowered the body's natural resistance levels. Tea tree oil is available for around $14 in a most natural foods or whole foods stores. It's very potent, so must be diluted with water. Be sure to read the usage instructions thoroughly. You can also order skincare products with tea tree oil from many websites on line. You can add a few drops of tea tree oil to your favorite shampoo and conditioner or face wash. In fact, it is so versatile, that we even use it on Simba when he has a little skin irritation...and it keeps him so soft and fluffy!
