| SANTO DOMINGO. - From 7 p.m. tonight, nine beautiful candidates from different provinces will vie for the Miss Universe Dominican Republic 2008 crown, in which reigning queen Massiel Taveras will hand over the title to the winner of contest, to air on Channel 7. Dominican Republic’s most beautiful woman will be among Adrianna Rossal Hidalgo, Claudia Vidal, Eliana Santana Arias, Jennifer Peña García, Katherine Escaño Cabrera, Marianne Cruz, Mariel Sagobal Cruz, Yadira Geara Cury and Yaritza Camacho. Miss Universe Dominican Republic 2008 will be chose from the three finalists, with the second finalist to compete for the title Miss Hispano-America; the first runner-up for the Miss Continent and the winner for the Miss Universe 2008 world crown. |
