Michelle Moore-Galvin is the mother of two; 11-year-old Alex and 6-year-old Brea. For the past five years, she was the founder and president of Moore|Galvin Communications, Inc., a marketing, advertising and public relations consultancy specializing in healthcare communications. In July 2003, the healthcare practice of Moore|Galvin Communications was acquired by Paul Werth Associates, one of the most respected and well established public relations firms in the Midwest. Moore|Galvin Communications, Inc. remains the company that organizes and produces the Mrs. Ohio America Pageant. Active in the community, she volunteers for several organizations and holds a seat on the board of the Lawrence Funderburke Youth Organization. Additionally, she teaches vacation bible school at Dublin Baptist Church. Michelle earned a Bachelor of Arts in Journalism from the Ohio State University. She has been acting and modeling professionally since 1987 and has been featured in numerous television commercials, radio commercials print ads, brochures and related media. She is currently starring as a pageant coach in MTV’s MADE.
She has had the incredible blessing and honor to be Mrs. Ohio America 2002 and place in the ‘Top 10’ at the Mrs. America Pageant, which was internationally televised on the PAX network. Michelle has judged many pageants for contestants of all ages and has appeared for many worthy causes including the March of Dimes Celebrity Auction and the National Kids' Appreciation Day State House Rally. She is passionate about speaking to groups of girls about self-esteem, confidence and charting their own course to achieve their dreams. Most recently, Michelle was honored as one of Columbus’ ‘40 Under 40’ rising business stars.
