ISHPEMING — Terrie Blau was named first runner-up in the junior teen division at the National American Miss Wisconsin pageant held in Madison, Wis.
She is the granddaughter of Ken and Karen Blau of Ishpeming and of daughter Kerry and Tammie Blau of Door County, Wis.
In addition to her overall award, Blau was named fourth runner-up spokesmodel and actress winner at the state-level competition, and earned the opportunity to compete in the national pageant to be held in Los Angeles on Nov. 20-26.
Blau’s activities include captain of the Southern Door Varsity Dance Team, student council, women’s choir and youth group at Bay View Lutheran Church in Sturgeon Bay, Wis.
National American Miss Pageants are held in each state for girls ages 4 to 18 in five age divisions.
