BURLINGTON - Samantha Beatty of Burlington will compete for the title of Miss West Virginia USA the weekend of October 20-22. The competition is being held at the Days Inn conference center in Flatwoods, W.Va.
Samantha is the daughter of Rick and Eileen Beatty and is a 2004 graduate of Keyser High School. She is currently employed as a waitress at Denny's in Keyser. In her spare time, she enjoys cooking, shopping, hunting, fishing, 4-wheeling, being outdoors and hanging with friends.
The winner will go on to represent the state of West Virginia in the Miss USA Pageant in April 2007.
