This is a common error. Has the pageant right in the article, but the title is wrong. As if there was no difference. I blame the pageant organizers for allowing this blur over the years.

Last night, Miss California finished first runner-up in the Miss USA Pageant. But she is #1 in my book for her answer on gay marriage, which visibly ticked off her questioner Perez Hilton - and may have ruined her chances for the crown with a mostly-Hollywood panel of judges. Here's hoping some rich right-winger will give her a job!
