Former Miss America Nicole Johnson went the whole hog to promote awareness about diabetes during a recent visit to Chennai.
For her, that meant a visit to Dr. Mohan's Diabetes Specialities Centre at Gopalapuram. An insulin dependent diabetic herself, she spent time with children with diabetes, motivating them to live a full life.
She appreciated the charitable work being done at the Centre through the charitable trust Direct - providing children with life-long free treatment and supplies of insulin.
