She has worn designer frocks to be crowned Miss Universe, to dance with the stars and to plug a major department store - but she had nothing to wear to help celebrate the 50 years of Australian television.
So when Alex Perry offered to dress Jennifer Hawkins for the black-tie "TV Turns 50" event in Sydney tonight, the star was more than happy to take him up on the offer.
"I can't wait to walk down the red carpet in it," she said.
But, in true fashion form, the details of the dress have been kept a closely guarded secret.
"All I can say is it's not sparkly, it has straps and colour," Perry said. "Apart from that, I can't say anything else.
"But it is a dress I have designed especially for Jen."
Hawkins will join American actors Will Ferrell and John C. Reilly at Star City casino for the event to be broadcast live on Channel Seven.
The evening will include the countdown of the top-20 television moments, voted by the Australian public.
"My favourite moment on television would actually have to be Hey, Hey, It's Saturday," Hawkins said. "I used to love sitting at home on a Saturday night watching it.
