Ex-Miss Universe joins the well-wishers

Miss Universe 2005 Natalie Glebova signs a get-well book at Siriraj Hospital yesterday.
His Majesty the King is getting stronger, is able to walk with a walking aid, can shift position more comfortably and sit at his working desk, according to the Royal Household Bureau.

The bureau's 16th statement on His Majesty's condition came yesterday as a steady stream of people continued to gather outside Siriraj Hospital and to sign get-well books wishing for his speedy recovery.

The King underwent surgery for lumbar spinal stenosis last month.

Free ferry services are now being provided for people going to Siriraj Hospital. The service, an arrangement between the Water Transport Department and a private ferry company, Supattra Co Ltd, will operate from Phra Chan and Wang Lang (Siriraj) piers between 9am and 3pm daily.

Among the well-wishers yesterday was Miss Universe 2005, Natalie Glebova, who signed: "Long live the King in good health and well-being". She said she was impressed by the way Thai people expressed their love and wishes for His Majesty's recovery.
