American Queen Pageant

Connie's Corner

Friday, May 30, 2008

Happy Summer!

Well, the 2008 State and Regional American Queen Pageants are now behind us. We've crowned wonderful new title holders and we're looking forward to seeing everyone in beautiful Daytona Beach! We had a great time at all of the pageants and we're so fortunate to have these wonderful ladies as new members of our family.

We'll be awarding more state titles within the next couple of weeks for those states that are part of our "at-large" regions. If you know of a candidate whom you feel is worthy of an American Queen title, please let us know!

If you reside, attend school, or work in a state where there is no "live" American Queen Pageant, it may not be too late for YOU to become an American Queen too! Just email us today for all the details at: Info@AmericanQueenPageant.net

Lots of news today, so we'll get right to it! Enjoy your summer and don't forget the Sun Screen!

Best wishes,

Connie

We were also visited by a film crew from the local NBC Affiliate for the local TV show "Rhode Bytes" starring the hilarious Doreen Collins and Charlie Hall. The episode of the comedy, tongue-in-cheek "Rhode Bytes" will be televised in Southern New England and will also be available on-line at the end of July. QUEENS IN THE NEWS:

Our American Queens are ALWAYS in Demand! They're all been busy with appearances and community service - in order to show what they have all been up to, we'd have to dedicate an entire e-zine to all of their activities. In the interest of space, here are just a couple of highlights:

Our Mrs. American Queen, Kate Stier, is always ready to lend a hand (or a shovel!). Here she is at "Gimme Shelter Day", an event sponsored by Comcast.

Mrs. California, Lisa Tallerigo, received a Proclamation from the Mayor and City Council of San Marcos, California

Many of our American Queens participated in Parades and Community Events over the Memorial Day Weekend.

Ms. Massachusetts, Maria Alaina Langlois appeared in her home-town Memorial Day Parade:
