On May 4th I went to Waco to support the Miss Heart of Texas Pageant. Che’, TX BOA Director; Kelly Toudouze, Diverse Dreams Assistant and Elizabeth Miss SA USA joined me on the road trip and pageant fun. David Eddleman of Diamond Crown Productions did a great job. Winners included Michele Cude. Miss Heart of Texas 2008 and Alexandra Nini, Miss Heart of Texas Teen 2008.

On May 10th I was invited to the The First Annual Texas Great American Tribute honoring Frank Denius, Austin civic leader and attorney and decorated World War II hero, and Darrell K Royal, The University of Texas’ all-time winningest head coach and community leader. During the celebration we honored these individuals and also thanked our troops and military supporters through a special presentation of the U.S. Army. I, along with pageant sisters Ashley and Stephanie, had the privilege of escorting the Soldiers as they modeled different battle attire representing the wars the U.S Army has fought in.This esteemed event was held at the San Antonio Marriott Rivercenter. Bill Kurtis, host of A&E’s Investigative Reports, American Justice and Cold Case Files, served as the master of ceremonies.
