Panaji, Nov 1: Miss Universe, Zuleyka Rivera will arrive in Goa tomorrow as part of two-day AIDS awareness campaign in the state. She will walk the ramp along with 13 other international models on November 3 at La Calypso Hotels Private Limited, Calangute, as part of the campaign.
The 19-year-old beauty queen from Puerto Rico is on a two-week AIDS awareness tour in India and will arrive at Dabolim by an Air Deccan flight tomorrow afternoon. She has already visited the cities of Mumbai, Delhi and Chennai.
The fashion show has been organised on the theme “Get tested for AIDS-its in fashion”. New York-based designer, Sanjana Jon has designed the outfits. Fashion TV has brought the fashion show to Goa in association with La Calypso Pvt Ltd.
Rivera will interact with AIDS infected children and adults at 5.30 p.m. She will also interact with the members of Goa State Aids Control Society so as to discuss the situation and problems of AIDS patients in the state and have an exchange of ideas with them. Thereafter she will interact with the press at 7 p.m.
