Adults bring enthusiasm for reading to school

By Amanda M. Wimmer
of The Northwestern

Children's Book Week brought a variety of different characters and authors to St. Frances Cabrini Elementary School Monday.

Miss Wisconsin, Miss Wisconsin National Teen, Unified Catholic Schools President Tony Blando and parents were invited to be guest readers at the school to show the children that adults enjoy reading just as much as children.

The second-graders dressed up as their favorite author or book character.

Emily Albrecht went all out on her costume and dressed up like Old Befana, a character from the book The Legend of Old Betfana.
