AFTER the controversy of last year, who'd be Miss USA?
Not Katie Rees, who was stripped of her Miss Nevada title and booted from the competition after racy photos of her appeared on the internet.
Rees, 22, was relieved of her position in December, days after Miss USA 2006, Tara Conner, was allowed to keep her tiara after she admitted underage drinking at New York bars and agreed to go into rehab.
The Miss USA 2007 pageant is now just days away. This year it will take place in Los Angeles on March 23.
Already hopefuls are gathering in LA for rehearsals, as well as to meet fellow contestants, and Conner – not to mention pageant co-owner Donald Trump.
