MADD-NC welcomes Miss America to Raleigh


Mothers Against Drunk Driving- North Carolina is proud to announce the presence of Miss America, Jennifer Berry at a Cardinal Club luncheon on October 16th. Along with Miss Berry, MADD's National President, Glynn Birch will announce important information about new MADD initiatives, both nationwide and within North Carolina.

Major sponsors of the event are Monitech Ignition Interlock Systems and Rehabilitation Support Services.

With the holidays approaching, MADD's Tie-One-On For Safety Red Ribbon Campaign will be officially started within our state. Another major announcement will include the initiation of UMADD, a campus-based student organization composed of student and campus leaders concerned about underage drinking, high-risk drinking, and impaired driving. North Carolina State University and Duke University have recently started UMADD programs on their campuses. A press conference will be held at The Cardinal Club to announce this important news.
