This year’s Miss Commerce is no stranger to the spotlight, the aspiring dancer and choreographer has performed at theaters throughout Southern California, including the Glorya Kaufman Hall at UCLA.
Andrea Ordaz, a junior at the LA County High School for the Arts, was crowned Miss Commerce 2010 at the city’s annual pageant held at Stevens Steak and Seafood House on Feb. 27.
Ordaz’s personality and charm are credited for giving her the main role in this year’s pageant. Her poise, assured responses in combination with her future aspirations and passion for dance helped set her apart from the other competitors, according to the pageant press release.
