Oregon crowned two new queens as the Miss Oregon & Miss Oregon Teen USA pageant was held over the weekend. Kate Paul of Bend was crowned Miss Oregon USA 2010 and Cara Nardini won the Miss Oregon Teen USA 2010 title to the cheers of a standing room only crowd.
Carol and Bert Lukens put on a fabulous show. I was treated like a queen during the event with front row seats for a great view of the competition. Joining me was fellow Beauties of Amercia-Oregon's 40s queen Chris Wooley as we settled in for an evening of fun.
Congratulations also to two wonderful young women, Emma Pellet who placed in the top ten, and Monica Atkinson (in the gold gown) who finished as 1st runner-up to Kate Paul, Miss Oregon USA 2010. Expect to see both of them in the future on a national pageant stage!
