From Iran Prison And In Good Spirits

The Miss America Organization is so happy to report that former Miss North Dakota, Roxana Saberi, has been released from an Iran prison, after more than three months in detention, and arrived this morning in Vienna.

"She is in good spirits, and what is important is that she is not facing any legal restrictions on her departure," reported her lawyer.

Art McMaster, President and CEO for The Miss America Organization stated, “We are pleased to hear such fantastic news, and we wish Roxana and her family all the best for a safe return to the U.S!”

He added, “We are also very grateful to our State Executive Director, Marian Hamilton and the entire state team in North Dakota for keeping the Miss America family updated and informed on Roxana. We sincerely appreciate all of their help, their support and the prayers that everyone has offered to Roxana.”
