Who knew a 50(+) year old grandmother could actually win the Mrs. Oregon pageant?! But with a wonderfully supportive husband and family looking on, my name was called last year as the winner. I think we were all in a state 
of disbelief!
After an incredible year of so many wonderful opportunities, events, friendships and blessings, I am getting ready to crown the next lucky lady to bear the title of Mrs. Oregon International. On March 28, at Lake Oswego High School's Performing Arts Theater, an impressive group of very accomplished women will put their best effort forward for the chance to spend 2009 promoting their platform, going to the national competition, and representing Oregon's married women in venues across the country, region, and state as Mrs. Oregon International 2009.
Next week I will fill you in on all the fun and excitement of pageant weekend and let you know who that lucky lady is. For now, here is one final look at that special night one year ago!
