THE MISS AMERICA ORGANIZATION LISTS EXCLUSIVE ITEMS ON EBAY GIVING WORKS DECEMBER 16-23 
For the first time in the Miss America Organization’s history, several exclusive MAO items and experiences are being listed on the auction site eBay via its dedicated charity program, Giving Works. Proceeds from the auction will benefit the Miss America Scholarship Fund. From December 16 through December 23, members of the public can bid on the following Miss America VIP once-in-a-lifetime experiences and exclusive items by visiting www.ebay.com/missamerica. Rock Out with Miss America! A one-of-a-kind, custom Peavey Signature electric guitar, made exclusively for the Miss America Organization. This gold guitar features the signatures of 70 Miss Americas, exemplifying the tradition of providing financial assistance to young women all across the country so they are able to “rock ” their educational goals.
See What the Judges See! For the first time ever; the Miss America Organization will auction off 4 VIP seats to the 2009 Miss America Pageant! These are premium, FRONT ROW seats never before available to the public. The occupants of these seats are typically seen on camera, although the Miss America Organization cannot guarantee that the winning bidder will be seen during the telecast. These front-row tickets are for the three preliminary nights of competition (Tues. Jan. 20th – Thurs. Jan. 22nd at 8 p.m.), and the Miss America Pageant on Jan 24th. The final live event begins at 4:30 p.m. PST, and is broadcast live from Planet Hollywood Resort and Casino in Las Vegas, exclusively on TLC!
Behind the Scenes at Miss America! An all-encompassing, once-in-a-lifetime experience that gives you and a guest access to the Miss America experience like never before! This package includes: two VIP premium orchestra tickets to the preliminaries and final Miss America Pageant, Jan. 20-24, 2008; 5 nights in a deluxe VIP room at the Planet Hollywood Resort and Casino in Las Vegas, NV; a meet-and-greet with the 2009 Miss America contestants and Miss America 2008, Kirsten Haglund; and access to the post-crowning press conference, introducing our new Miss America 2009, never before open to the general public.
An Evening with Miss America! During her year of service, you and a guest may have dinner with Miss America 2009 in any city to which she tours, as her schedule permits. Our tour manager will work closely with you, keeping you apprised of Miss America’s schedule.
An Afternoon with Miss Americas! During the final week of competition in Las Vegas, NV, you and a guest will have lunch with at least 2 former Miss Americas. This luncheon is available Tues. Jan 20th through Fri. Jan. 23rd, 2009.
